Letter to Saint Joseph London

Dear SJL: ”My father was a patient at Saint Joseph three times and I want to let you know how pleased we were with your facility and with the care he received. [During] Dad’s last stay at Saint Joseph he was treated for pneumonia and CHF. He was transferred to [a local nursing home] and [has since] passed away. I was with Dad during most of his stay at Saint Joseph, andI did not meet one person who was not kind, caring and helpful.

Dad was on the fifth floor, and his day nurses were Ed and Tina. They were very professional and understanding; I was completely informed about Dad’s care and they answered any questions that I had. His night nurses were Hope, Tenielle and Regina — very kind, efficient nurses; again, working so well with Dad and keeping me well apprised of every step of his treatment.

Beyond nursing care, I found that the respiratory therapists, aides, housekeeping and food service personnel were very friendly, working hard to care for patients and to keep your facility running smoothly; and you get an “A” for cleanliness! I did not get his name, but there was one young man from respiratory therapy (I believe he worked on Saturday night) — he was so kind and gentle with Dad, very respectful of my [elderly] father.

Please extend our thanks to your personnel and let them know they are making a difference in many lives!”
